Birth and chart data
Birth date, time, selected birthplace, and calculated chart data are sent to our server only to perform the requested calculation. The application does not intentionally persist them in a database. The result is stored in your browser session storage and normally disappears when that session ends.
Payments and access
Stripe processes the one-time payment and receives the information needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy terms. We send Stripe an opaque chart fingerprint and purchase label, not your birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, timezone, chart, or reading. Signed HttpOnly cookies associate the Checkout Session and paid access with that fingerprint for up to one year; they contain no raw birth details or payment-card data.
Optional paid AI reading
After payment is confirmed, our server sends Google Gemini a bounded chart context containing calculated placements, aspects, available houses and angles, deterministic insights, and matching interpretation excerpts. Birth date, birth time, birthplace, coordinates, and timezone are removed before that request. Google processes the bounded context to generate the reading. The generated reading is stored in your browser session rather than our database.
Location lookup
When configured, typed place queries are sent from our server to GeoNames to return city names, coordinates, and IANA timezones. The browser does not receive the provider credential. Without that configuration, a clearly labeled small fixture list is used.
Operational data and analytics
Vercel Web Analytics measures aggregate page usage without using analytics cookies, and Vercel Speed Insights measures real-user performance. Calculator, payment-funnel, and AI-reading events contain only conceptual event names or non-sensitive technical status; birth date, time, birthplace, chart placements, generated prose, typed location queries, and payment details are not sent as analytics properties. Hosting infrastructure may process standard request data such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and error logs for security and reliability.
Sharing, retention, and rights
We do not create public chart profiles or sell birth details. Avoid sharing screenshots or copied readings containing information you consider private. Contact details will be added when a support address is configured; applicable privacy or purchase-support requests can then be directed there.
Changes and scope
This policy will be updated before accounts, active advertising, or persistent chart storage are introduced. This initial policy is informational and is not legal advice.
